I hit 100 posts last post! I didn't notice. So here, (drumroll) is my 101st post.
So, unexpected trainers - I bought a pair of Superga trainers in Paris on honeymoon 5 years ago, a pair with a tessellated orange pattern - products of an Orla Kiely/Superga* collaboration. I think they are an Italian brand? I hadn't heard of them when I lived in Italy, though. They were a great fit on me. I wore them out and then couldn't find any more in colours other than black and white in London, which for me, are too much like school plimsolls.
*Linking because I love - watch out for bonkers loud music on the superga website though, eek.
Then this week my shoe spy (aka Mr SS) spotted them in a myriad of colours in our local trainer shop. Most of my city will now probably be wearing them! The other fan-shoe here is Dr Martens, everyone wears them here, too (must be all the rugged cobble stones we have to walk over). Mr SS very kindly bought me some today (they run true to size, I am a UK 5.5, so EU 39)

Do you like the socks?
Hope you all have a lovely weekend xx

Totally cute! I love the blue shoes with orange socks. Congrats on the find. My only pair of trainers are my Arche pair I wore today, but I keep looking for another pair. Some days just call for sneakers.
ReplyDeleteWent over to see yours, they are lovely! And not sporty. I reserve 'sporty' ones for my gym class only.
DeleteYummy sneakers. And great pairing with the socks. Congrats on the blogging achievement!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ally, it's good to be here x
DeleteOoh, your feet are nearly the same size as mine (39-40 Euro). I love the blue with orange socks. Very fun!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon! Happy 100 posts!
