| Pinafore! vintage M&S (St Michael label) dress from the 60's white collared shirt - Comptoir des Cotonneirs drapey cardi - Jigsaw boots - Camper (merino wool leggings under ribbed brown tights) |
*Linking because I love
I felt smart in this, but it's a bit like school uniform - pinafore dress, shirt & cardigan etc. Thankfully no Double Maths though.
Hope you are all keeping warm? (or are lucky & enjoying warm weather somewhere)

I love the layers! I would feel smart in it too! I do the layering to stay warm too, it helps too if the office gets a little warm I can remove something if need be!
ReplyDeleteIt is all about layers - I'm even going to leave an Emergency cardigan at work, just in case of further freezing-ness!
DeleteI love this because the cardi keeps it from being *too* schoolgirl; it's still grown and interesting.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gracey, I was really trying to avoid too much cuteness.
DeleteI love that color blue! (As you'll find out on my birthday post ;) ) You look very sharp!
ReplyDeleteI'm already huddled back inside, away from the cold and rain. Though like you I layered up the wool today.
Ugh - double maths. One thing I'm grateful of - no more math!!
Ah, your dress is beautiful. Happy birthday MM xx
DeleteI've always been partial to the tight-laced schoolgirl look with the top buttons buttoned. I love this style.
ReplyDeleteThank you Melanie :-) I had the shirt for ages before i realised I could button it right up (eyeroll)...
DeleteI like the schoolgirl vibe! A little Puritan chic going on too! And it's a dress, and you know how I like dresses! Really great outfit. And NO Maths! xxxxx
ReplyDeleteOoh, Puritan chic - you are right! I hadn't thought of that. My next thing will be Shaker -chic xx
DeleteI think you look French. Drooling a bit over that cardi.
ReplyDeleteBonjour Madame! J'habite en Angleterre etc (that's about the limits of my French) xx
