Today is mustard. Argh, I own nothing mustard ---- except! a very delightful sweatshirt, bought aeons ago from Oxfam (UK charity shop), originally from Jigsaw - and from the 80's, going on the detail.
I only wear it at home, it's too casual for work and I haven't worn it out & about. The mustardy-awesomeness intimidates me :-)

jacket - Oxfam, originally Jigsaw
shirt - Topshop (washed so many times it is incredibly soft)
jeans - Levis (often I wear yogapants though)
Do you have special house-clothes?

I totally went for the Colonel Mustard reference in my Mustard post too - which you'll see tomorrow your time. It just totally made me think of that!
ReplyDeleteAnd if that's your definition of casual, then you put me to shame! You look great!
Ah, happy to share a blog title...! I decided not to make a murder reference though...
DeleteAww your casual look is still super cute. I love the little jacket! I do have certain clothes I prefer to wear around the house. Unless I'm going back to night class or something I usually swap into pajama pants by evening.
ReplyDeleteI have visited the corner shop in tartan pjs before, with converse trainers and a jumper over the top, to buy a Sunday newspaper. My newsagent wasn't fazed.
DeleteMustard is a good colour on you, don't be intimidated by it!
ReplyDeleteI tend to dress the same way whether I am out and about or at home, I don't really have any slobbing about gear... xxx
Thank you Curtise. I think I will get more things in that colour. The shawl I am wearing on Friday also came in an orangey colour, am tempted to double up x
DeleteI love that color on you! Looks great with the black pants!
ReplyDeleteNow I am definitely rethinking mustard!
DeleteNo longer confused by whether it's Wed or Th, now I'm just confused as to whether it's pumpkin or mustard :P
ReplyDeleteThis jacket is so awesome. You could wear it OUTSIDE :o
Thanks to Sheila for the time difference nudge below!
DeleteLynne, I have worn it to hang washing up in my garden, does that count?? Maybe I could wear it to the park :-)
That is a seriously cool jacket. I think you should wear it in public.
ReplyDeleteLynne, she's in the UK - it's nearly Thursday there.
Ok, I am going to wear it as a test card, to my local pub :-)
DeleteAgree with Sheila-wear that jacket in public!
ReplyDeleteI do have special "house clothes". I tend toward yoga or PJ pants or leggings with a comfy top. No need to relax in jeans when you have spandex-cotton.:)
..spandex cotton is gooood :-)
